Who is Halfway Home Rescue?

Halfway Home Rescue Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, started in 2004. They are dedicated to saving the lives of abused, abandoned, and homeless animals, locally and beyond. Their goal is to place each animal in a home that most suits each animal needs.

Halfway Home Partnerships

Since November of 2008, Halfway Home has been a PetSmart Charities Adoption Partner and now occupies the adoption center in the North Haven,CT.
In the fall of 2014, Halfway Home became a rescue partner of North Shore Animal League, which twice-monthly loans us their mobile adoption unit in an effort to increase the number of animals finding forever homes. In January 2015, HHR began a partnership with GreaterGood.org and was awarded Shelter of the Month by Animal Planet’s Jackson Galaxy; My Cat From Hell. |

How do I adopt?

You can fill out an application during your cat cafe visit, or you can fill out an application on Halfway Home's website!
It can take a week for your application to be processed. If you have applied and would like an update, you can contact Halfway Home. Please leave a voicemail or send a email so they have a way to respond! You can find a list of adoptable cats on their Petfinder. |
